GPDFA Events
Show Handling Classes
This eight week long semester will have classes for both large
and small dogs.
Class dates:
Monday, September 20th & 27th
Monday, October 3th, 11th, 18th, & 25th
Monday, November 1st & 8th
Class times:
7 p.m. for small dogs
8 p.m. for larger dogs
Classes are held at:
St. Luke's Episcopal Church
1946 Welsh Road
Philadelphia, PA 19115
Tuition is $120 for all sessions or $20
per class. Walk-ins are welcome.

AKC CGC/TDI Testing
Several times a year GPDFA conducts
AKC Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dogs International testing.
Certified testers test dogs in very basic obedience (sit,
stay, down, come, walking politely on a lead), tolerance to
handling by strangers, behavior in crowds and near other dogs,
and separation from the owner. Certified Therapy Dogs are
welcome in many hospitals and nursing homes as visitors for
the sick and lonely. For our next scheduled CGC/TDI Test,
